At the cycling show Bike Brussels, BOUD Bikes will present for the first time the conversion components for its modular cargo bikes. With this system, a single BOUD bike can be configured as a box bike, family bike, longtail, front loader, short cargo, long cargo, or even combinations of these setups.
With this premiere, BOUD takes a new step towards a bicycle that evolves with its rider’s life. When mobility needs change over the years, a BOUD CargoBike can simply be converted into another model: from cargo bike to front loader, from longtail to family bike — and in the future to additional models within the BOUD platform.
According to BOUD, this approach fundamentally differs from traditional cargo bikes. Instead of purchasing a new bike when needs change, the same bike remains the foundation.
From the very first conversion, this concept is both economically and environmentally advantageous: converting a BOUD CargoBike is cheaper and has a lower environmental impact than buying a completely new bike.
